Here’s a quick review of Viral Friend Generator (ViralFriendGenerator.com).

I haven’t installed the VFG script, because I’m waiting for an upgraded version first. You may have read reports of how Mike Filsaime’s VFG script has a feature than can get your autoresponder account suspended, so it may be a good idea to wait for something higher than version 1.7 (perhaps version 1.9?).

In the meantime, what’s so great about getting Viral Friend Generator today?

1. You’ll get a sneak peek at how Mike Filsaime sets up an affiliate program. You’ll get ideas on how to take care of your affiliates, and how to increase their chances of success. For example, while the old traditional affiliate managers will provide email templates to their affiliates, there are yet other venues that have not been promoted as much.

2. You’ll get a copy of The Butterfly Marketing Manuscript. That’s a 125-page ebook that outlines some of the steps Mike Filsaime did in his previous product launches. You can expect a review of that ebook shortly.

3. You gain access to JV blogs. You’ll see firsthand how a Joint Venture blog looks like, and that will give you ideas on how to handle your own future JVs in the future.

To be continued…

UPDATE: I wonder what the long-term prospects will be for Viral Friend Generator. Looks like Tell A Friend Forms Are Not Opt-In, according to Aweber.

It would be interesting to see if people can use your web site to send an email to their friends, and those friends won’t complain if they were bothered by an email coming from your site or your autoresponder (i.e., Aweber).

Perhaps it would be safer if people used their own email accounts to tell their friends about your site. If that can be integrated with the “Special Gift” automation facilitated by VFG, then maybe the script will have a safer long-term use. Imagine, people email their friends (without using any form in your site), and the TAF script manages to track those visits and reward the correct person with your special gift.
