I'd like to see a site that has the "magnet" plugin activated. I do like "Gadgets" suggestion regarding the reverse plugin.

well the wordpress really sounds great . it would be cool to see it working for someone and how do people actually react to this. I believe that by creating such a wordpress plugin people might really want to write comments just for the sake of writing it and maybe after getting the prize they wont want to read or comment on your blog anymore.

I used to giveaway free links to top commentors of the month.. it really did work out for the first few weeks as I noticed a 300% increase in visitors and about 500% increase in comments .. but it only lasted so long and I took it off once I noticed there is a lot of rubbish comments..

There is also such a thing called TipMe for every person who wants to have their links on a website or blog. This has higher votes on my side as a way to get people to have their links on my site but at the same time people dont want to pay for it. And you only get paid after like you earn USD 100 and above.

If there could only be a reverse plugin for this. Tipping the highest commentor with most relevant comments. People would have to register for it. That would be a great plugin.

Sounds like your webserver requires certain "write privileges" or permissions so that the settings you made will be saved. May I know where you are hosting your website?

The plugin is a great idea and just the thing I could use but....
I purchased WP Magnet a few days ago and have been trying to get it to function properly, in other owrds as described in the video. Anyone else having this problem? Although I am able to edit various fields, none except the email "comment text" actually stay as "saved settings". The remaining fields such as the email subject line and the actual email template do not stay as "saved". I've sent test comments...with no visible settings. So technically, I can receive a message after submitting a comment but nothing else is visible...the email body says "email template #1" and the email subject is "subject".
Strangely enough it does retain my clickbank ID and the actual email from address.
More disappointing is that I am not getting any response from either the Warrior Forum where I posted a request for information or the actual "Help Desk" at WP Magnet.
Any suggestions?

Hey Manual,

Thanks for blogging about Wordpress Magnet. Looks like an honest review and a well written post...

To clarify I was using it on my personal blog but people kept trying to steal the plugin by guessing where the download link was on my server, trying to download the file, etc...it was just just simpler not to use it on that blog during the launch.

Regards,
