What makes a successful viral video marketing campaign? Don't look now but Charles Trippy launches Viral Video Fever, a 3-volume instructional DVD set on what it takes to succeed in the increasingly all-video world of viral marketing.
Here are some observations about ViralVideoFever.com --
The salesletter and sales video created by Charles Trippy is short and quite direct to the point. The video itself makes minimal use of dubbed in music, and relies on numerous cuts to move the "story" along.
If you're going to copy this style, you'll just need a simple video editor program that will cut some seconds out of your raw video footage, and splice the remaining sections together.
Some comments about the ordering process:
The Viral Video Fever salespage offers Volume 1 for $47 (plus shipping of $6.95). After making completing the sale, however, you will be offered Volumes 2 and 3 at a combined price of $47, and these will be combined with Volume 1 so that you will save on shipping costs.
Here's where the confusion comes in. When you go for the upsell, you will be charged $100.95 ($47 for Vol 1, $47 for Vols 2 and 3, and $6.95 shipping costs of the entire 3-volume set).
So, at the end of the entire order process (assuming you go for the 3-volume package), your credit card will have been charged first $53.95 ($47 + $6.95), and then $100.95 ^_^
You will then have to submit a support ticket at http://www.thehelpdesk.us and request for a refund of the initial $53.95 (I wish their ordering process will recognize that you've purchased the initial Vol 1, and then just deduct $53.95 from $100.95 or simply charge your card only $47 for the second transaction.
Anyway, the sales letter for Volume 1 did not provide that many details, but here's what Charles Trippy says you'll get in Volumes 2 and 3:
