Twitter and Web 2.0 Traffic
190 words | Last Updated: August 12, 2007 |
I just would like to assure my Thirty Day Challenge teammates that I have not joined the writing team of ABS-CBN or GMA-7, and neither is this site going to turn into one dramatic blog-o-novela. So here are some updates on how we can drive more traffic to web sites with the help of Web2.0 and social media tools.
The experiment involves searching for new blogs, and one source I'm tapping is the group of bloggers following my Twitter account (http://twitter.com/manuelviloria)
I won't link to the first site that I'm driving traffic to, because the goal is to generate visitors from these Web2.0-related sites. Of course, it also helps that the chosen site has quality articles that the social community will at least appreciate.
We should not promote sub-par sites; otherwise, you know what happens when you hang on to the tail of the Web2.0 tiger, right?
The initial tools/services being used are StumbleUpon and OnlyWire.
So if you'd like to be among the recipients of additional traffic to your quality blog, then "follow" me in Twitter.
