Should you buy Traffic Voodoo?

Do you need a fair amount of handholding? Are you willing to budget several hundreds of dollars a month for traffic generation training? Are you very patient when it comes to receiving lessons over time (7-week training program)? Then go for it.

Imagine this: You'll get material which you will review for a week, then you'll get together in a live webinar where you can ask questions to clarify the things you reviewed. If that's how you would like to learn the 14 major traffic sources, then go for it.

Otherwise, it would be more cost-effective (especially for people who prefer to read rather than watch online videos or screencasts, or participate in time-bound webinars) if you invest the next 30 days searching for free tutorials on traffic generation, implement those tips, and then gain a personal insight on what it means to build traffic and attract more visitors to your website.

Here's a FREE traffic boosting tip for you: Put up a WordPress-powered blog (with its own dotcom domain name), then add at least one useful and relevant (from the point of view of the people you wish to attract) article or blog post each week.

And another traffic generating tip: After you have at least 10 high impact and useful articles online, network with other bloggers and leave insightful comments in their blog posts (particularly those which are related to your own blog posts).

When you adopt this two-step approach, you will get more visitors to your site. Guaranteed. And yes, please keep your credit card in your wallet. :-)

I'm curious, though...

How did you find out about Jeff Johnson's Traffic Voodoo?

Did you search for it in Google? Or did you learn about it because of a blog that your frequently read?

I first heard about it via a mailing list. I subscribed to a friend's list and stayed subscribed in spite of all the sales pitches bombarded to that list.

This shows us that having a good mailing list, or at least joint-venturing or partnering with people with mailing lists, will help drive traffic to any promoted website.

Traffic Voodoo isn't exactly inexpensive. You'll find price points at $7,500 or $1,999 or even $799 (3-monthly installment plan). No wonder there are affiliates promoting such a high ticket item. That should give you ideas on how some people are able to make a lot of money online even if they have small lists (i.e., less than 5000).

All in all, you'll soon discover that this is not rocket science. And it isn't magical voodoo either.

It's just basic online research, writing, and networking with lots of people.

Have fun and succeed in your business, my friends! :-)
