Traffic Jam by John Reese

John Reese releases Traffic Jam after what seemed like forever. I'm glad I didn't give up on BlogRush (see BlogRush 2008 Traffic), because once you combine it with TrafficJam.com, you'll have access to key internet marketing data.
Let's see what's inside...
Traffic Jam (which John Reese touts as something that allows you to speed read thousands of blogs) takes the data generated by sites participating in the BlogRush system, runs these through some number-crunching process, and then displays the popular posts made by the different blogs.
Each post is arranged by category (i.e., business, real estate).
You'll notice that each entry is displayed as a post title. In fact, if you've seen those BlogRush widget boxes, that's all you'll basically see: titles.
There's no body of text, no summary, no excerpt. It's all just titles.
So what does it mean if certain posts are featured in Traffic Jam? It means those post titles were the ones clicked on the most by people who saw the BlogRush widgets. Yes, it means the words in those titles were compelling enough for people to click on.
If you're curious about what words will attract more visitors to your web site, or which headlines will drive higher web traffic to you, then check out TrafficJam.com and browse through the different categories.
And while you're there, get a feel of which categories represent real visitor interest, and not just the interests of a co-blogger or fellow internet marketer who's just interested not in you, but rather in learning more about traffic.
