The electrifying Jonny Andrews re-launches The Guru Assassin where he shows you how he went from broke and unemployed, to making over $29,842.33 in less than 30 days, starting with no list, no website, no money, and no clue. Is this for real or just a scam? Here's an inside look and why you need a healthy dose of skepticism...
First of all, you'll read about many internet marketers who tried something online, succeeded, and are now eager to share with you the exact step-by-step path they took to make money online. In some cases, it's true. They did earn income online.
Yet when you read things like "starting with no money and no clue" you'll tend to go "Hmmmm."
First of all, a lot of these online success stories did start with some money. Have you experienced buying ebooks on internet marketing left and right? Have you chased after this or that "next big thing" hoping to achieve financial freedom? Let's face it... A lot of us have gone out and purchased infoproducts, right?
And if you've gone through some of the chapters of those ebooks, or even dabbled in various online forums that provide tips on home-based businesses, affiliate marketing, and other IM matters, you will have picked up a couple of nuggets of wisdom here and there.
So please... "starting with no money and no clue"? Perhaps we can attribute this to the need to entice people to read your salesletter with an attention-grabbing headline.
Anyway, what did Jonny Andrews do in January 2008? He responded to a challenge to rank high in the search engines for the phrase "affiliate ebook marketing." Jonny put up a basic web page that looks like affiliate_ebook_marketing.html which contained a headline, a video, and a refer-a-friend fill-in-the-box type of script. In other words, the page did not look as optimized as SEO enthusiasts would want it to be.
Yet he did do a bit of search engine marketing and put links to that SEO challenge page from Yahoo! Answers, as well as from three separate Squidoo pages. Yes, Jonny used free resources online to help generate backlinks to his affiliate ebook marketing page.
After public experiments such as that, he gained credibility online. This paved the way to future joint ventures (or JVs) with internet marketers who have huge mailing lists, as well as with other people who can bring their different skills (i.e., web design, SEO, PHP programming, salesletter copywriting) to the table.
In other words, Jonny got to where he is today through a series of both unfortunate and fortunate events. All of these seemingly itty bitty things added up, snowballed, reached some kind of tipping point... and boom! Almost $30,000 in just 30 days (according to Jonny).
Will The Guru Assassin (TGA) show you how to make money online? Well... you'll most likely see some parts of what Jonny did. Personally, I'm passing on this $77 ebook (or $67 if you try to leave the site and get shown a special promo offer thanks to the power of the installed Virtual Smart Agent script) because I'm still searching for TGA reviews written by people who have successfully implemented the things taught in there.
Attaining success in an online business is one thing. Duplicating that success is another. I wish Jonny Andrews and his TGA students all the best, and I eagerly await your blog posts sharing good news of your fortune in the coming 30 days.
