The SEO Mindset Review

The SEO Mindset (by Brad Callen) is a 128-page PDF ebook that aims to give you "long-term strategies for getting and keeping a top search engine ranking." Is this the ultimate, sustainable blueprint? Or is it just fluff?
For me, it's a thick and thin ebook. Here's why...
It's a thick, one-inch pile of letter-sized sheets once you print it out. The thick dark borders on top and at the bottom of the pages will probably add to the value of the ebook. Printer toner, afterall, is not cheap.
(In other words, how I wish the author did away with those dark 1cm borders which don't truly give value to the book. But anyway...)
Brad Callen's The SEO Mindset does live up to its promise: you will learn (if you don't already know) several long-term SEO strategies.
It's not rocket science.
And that's where certain parts of the ebook are quite thin. For example, you'll learn that it's better to consider various sources of SEO information. Don't just rely on a single point of info.
(Sounds familiar? It's like the usual get a second opinion approach when dealing with doctors, right?)
If you're looking for ways to experiment and test the different sources of SEO info (i.e., from Google vs from anti-Google), however, you won't find those tactical tidbits in Callen's ebook.
Afterall, it is a strategic ebook. It's quite thin in terms of SEO tactics and techniques.
You may also wonder why the ebook does not deal with WordPress. For example, you'll learn that the TITLE of your web page is important to its SEO success.
Yet how, exactly, do you apply that strategy to a WordPress-powered site? Perhaps that's beyond the scope of this macro-view type of material.
I did like certain parts of the ebook, though. Brad Callen provides links to several free programs he created, which you can use online to speed up your SEO activities. For example, do you know how to easily submit your site to various directories for free?
The 3-page SEO Master Plan (Chapter 4) will help guide you who have at least some amount of search engine optimization experience. Chapter 12 deals with launching your site. And the 16-page section on Keyword Research (Chapter 6) will give you a lot of new info, especially if you haven't seen Ed Dale's "Thirty Day Challenge."
Just to be clear, I'm not knocking Brad Callen. Afterall, his SEO track record speaks for itself. I simply can't shake the feeling, though, that Brad held back on a lot of things in the $47 ebook. Who knows? Perhaps it will be revealed in the $847 OTO (by... is it Brad Callen or Ken Hammond?).

Thanks for the insightful review!
I, also like Brad and have used (and really like) several of his software applications. I think his products are standouts.
It appears that this ebook is nothing I don't already have included with my SiteBuildIt websites. So I will pass on this.
Take a look here if you are not familiar with SiteBuildIt :

Is this the same as the DVD that Brad offered? Thanks
I haven't seen that DVD, so it may be better if we ask Brad about this. Thanks!
