Lots of people have been asking about problogging coaching, and since it's quite difficult to find the time to get many people together, let's just do the tutorials online. If there are specific questions that affect just a few people, then that's the time we can explore one-on-one coaching.

In the meantime, however, let's get the ball rolling with problogging.

(UPDATE: Thank you to Janette Toral, for featuring this in Episode 3 of her DigitalFilipino.com Podcast)

Here's the key ingredient of success online: You love to write.

Please don't think of initially outsourcing this or of relying on PLRs (private label rights). You need to enjoy writing yourself. You'll thank yourself several months later when you've built up your main web site using content which you wrote yourself.

The technical aspects of problogging can be outsourced. There are a lot of people who can help you set-up your blog and make it search engine friendly. Just remember, though, that you are in charge of your own writing.

If you have to drag yourself to the keyboard, if you dread the thought of filling a blank white rectangle with words, if you cringe whenever a whiff of "writing exercise" enters your mental reveries, then please STOP.

Problogging is definitely not for you. Unless, of course, you can partner with someone who does enjoy writing week after week, month after month, for at least two years.

You'll also need to set aside the following funds:

$15 x 2 years or $30 for your domain name (i.e., manuelviloria.com) [www.000domains.com]
$25 a month for your webhosting [www.Host4Profit.com] (aff)
$XX of your time spent writing three 400-word articles a week

Should you forget your Blogspot site? No. Please maintain it. But please consider getting your own dot com site where you can post your thoughts about the topics that interest you.

That's the site that you should prioritize building. Show the web that you are a person who enjoys sharing useful information online, preferably info that contains a twist or shows something unique about you.

Have I scared you off already? Good! I've saved you three to six months of your life pursuing something you don't have the staying power for.

Or... are you committed to writing? That's great! Commitment and perseverance will serve you well in your journey to problogging success.

In the coming posts, we'll get to the nitty gritty. Stay tuned!
