Looks like the PLDT myDSL selective surfing problems are back. Unfortunately, I'm not alone. I found other people experiencing the same thing.

For example, Connie Veneracion writes Are you a PLDT myDSL victim?

I can't even log into my main web site, that's why I'm making this post here. Anyway, what's the connection between my PLDT internet connection problems and your site traffic?

Plenty.

What's the point of having a good site, when a lot of your potential visitors are unable to connect to the internet? It's no longer just a matter of having a good niche topic and original content.

You need to consider your readers' internet connection.

If they cannot even access your site because their broadband connection is spotty, then it's as if your site does not exist. One way to work around this is to create a partner web site in domains that your readers can actually access.

If you're targeting people based in the Philippines, you'll probably need to host a site in a local server. Yes, that can be a pain, but you really need to consider your audience.

Thankfully, this site is still accessible via PLDT myDSL. For now.
