ABS-CBN features Pinoy problogger J. Angelo Racoma in a television interview.
In Insider Interview Video, J. Angelo shares a video clip of that TV interview. Philippine local television finds the concept of a stay-at-home dad novel, since in Philippine society it's usually the mom who stays at home.
Since he is not the corporate office-type, this often misconstrued as a slacker problogger is able to earn money while being near his children. His wife (who goes to work), is assured by the fact that there is someone watching over their children.
In a typical Filipino family where both parents need to work to support the children, the kids are often left under the care of a yaya or nanny. Oftentimes, the mom is worried whether the yaya is treating the children well.
So, with a work-at-home problogger dad, they have the best of all worlds.
