On Demand Profits Review
404 words |
Alok Jain launches On Demand Profits: Your Personal ATM Machine, a seductively compelling 24-page PDF ebook that shows you "how he made over $2000 in just 10 days using a ridiculously stupid technique he stole from his own affiliate."
It's only $7, yet there's a reason why he does not offer a money back guarantee.
Usually, ebook publishers will offer a money back guarantee to motivate you to try their product risk-free. They usually extend redemption periods of as long as 56 days for you to test-drive their ebook.
But I digress... Let's go back to the offered promise of On Demand Profits: You will make money online, even if you have no website and no skills.
What new online marketer can resist that, right?
If you've been online for quite some time, you will probably be able to guess how you can make money even if you don't have a web site. And while participating in the global online conversation can be a worthwhile activity, I was surprised to see a certain recommendation in page 12 of the ODP report.
I was also irked when I read some of the recommended activities in pages 18 to 19. Why would you unwittingly gain hundreds of enemies online, right?
Then again, I heard (from Alok) that 100 new internet marketers have written Alok Jain to proudly say that they've made their first online sale, thanks to his book.
If you're curious and do get a copy of On Demand Profits, I'll be happy to share with you the workaround for the problems I foresee in pages 12, 18, and 19.
UPDATE: I'll create a Special Report (PDF) in the future with the workarounds for "On Demand Profits."
Now if you're willing to set aside an advertising budget of around $20, then a better book to get would be Two Minute Profits (link removed), also by Alok Jain.
In TMP, Alok reveals a unique twist on Adwords. Plus, he also gives the important caveats in other sections of his 14-page ebook, which I greatly appreciate.
UPDATE: I removed the link to TMP because when it came to actually implementing the Adword twist, I did not find any workable keywords to bid on. If ever I do find them, I'll write a special report about it. In the meantime, please save your money.

Greetings Manuel,
Back on April 10th you said you forsee problems with the On Demand Profits by Alok Jain and that you would provide a workaround for the problems on page 12, 18 and 19. Did you ever come up with the workaround and are you gonna share it. Would like to know your solution. Thanks.
Ashley...
Hi Ashley,
I asked Alok Jain if he personally did the things he mentioned in his report, and he promised to reveal the details of what he did in a future emailed article. It's been almost a month, and I still haven't seen that particular email.
The main problems I foresee involve getting a fair amount of online notoriety if you do what he recommends in some of the places he mentioned.
That's why I asked him if he personally did those things, because I know that he will only get flamed (in one of those online communities).
One part of the workaround is to avoid some of the communities, or to modify one's approach. This means an additional bit of work, but it will help increase your chance of success.
Manuel
It's good to see someone else providing decent reviews of ebooks like these. It's disappointing how many people will "review" an ebook only to repeat all the ebook's own hype.
Keep it up!
Jay
Hi,
I was surprised to read a "negative" review. I have never read negative reviews before. I have bookmarked your website. Hope to see some workarounds you have mentioned above.
Very nice of you. The internet needs people like you who will guide the reader towars the right direction instae of misleading them. There is anought opportunity to everyone to make money on the NET provided they get right kind of education. I think you are on the right track.
Thaks
I recently purchased On Demand Profits and sold one $7.00 copy. Then I noticed the date in the "history" was May 31st (in the "future") and then, I noticed the price had changed to 9.95 and the payment page was changed to a clickbank payment page instead of my paypal payment page. I had nothing to do with either change. I don't exactly who to contact about this, but I was so excited. I thought I had finally found my niche!!!
Any help??
The salespage of Alok Jain shows http://www.AskAlok.com as the place to send in your support questions.
Payment page changed from Paypal to Clickbank? Hmmm. I wonder what happened to Alok's previous 7 dollar script. Will those who promote Alok's ODP using their affiliate link (/e=emailaddress) get credit for the sale?
You can promote using your affiliate link with the other site http://www.ondemandprofits.net which is still on the 7 dollar script.
So is this actually real then? I just assumed that, given that all his profit is from $7 payments (the exact cost of his ebook) that it was a scam, and that the ebook was just a trap to get people to buy it. Especially with no money back guaruntee.
If it is real, he really ought to change the price of the ebook.
Your review on 'On Demand Profits' was excellent but I would like to hear your thoughts on another report of his called 'Silent Profit Machine' where he almost guarantees that you can earn $2475 for refering 100 visitors to his website http://www.SilentProfitMachine.com
That's the key word: "can." Anyway, I'll go test it. It's a quick way to build a list, though. Alok's list, that is.
Hi Manuel,
I eared about "On Demand Profits" through an email from someone I did not knew, and of course was intrigued about it.
But at the same time my thoughts were that this is just another scam for someone to make money. By reading this reviews I got the impression that is not the case... Is this or is it not a scam Manuel?? Can we actually make money with it??
Best regards,
/Vitor
Hi Vitor! If you follow all the things taught in the ebook, you might make a bit of money (but you'll surely gain a lot of online notoriety). If you take what's in the ebook and modify it, you'll make a bit more money.
Alok told me that 100 marketers have sent feedback that they have used his techniques successfully. I say those 100 have been pretty lucky.
Is "On Demand Profits" just a scam? Let's just say I've asked Alok for proof that he has actually done what he wrote in his ebook, and Alok did send me an example. But the example he sent was significantly not enough to support his claims.
Bottomline: Save your money, Vitor.
On Demand Profits no longer uses the PayPal system. It has switched over to ClickBanks. The price has gone up from $7 to $9.97. And if you want the Master Reseller Rights (which give you the rights to sell the ODP report to ANYONE at ANY price), you need to shell out an extra $47.
I'm an authorised Master Reseller of the ODP report. For a limited time I offer you the On Demand Project Report($9.97 worth) + Master Reseller Rights($47 worth) for an incredible price of $5.
You can still get On Demand Profits online at $7 via Paypal, if you really want it. Look at that, the orginal report plus the right to sell it (and keep all the profits), plus the right to allow others to resell it (and allow them to keep all the profits)... for only $5? That tells you a lot, right?
hi manuel!!!
i'm argentinian and my english is awful.
what do you recomend to make money ? thanks.
Hi Mark! Perhaps you can build a photo blog? That will attract a lot of people looking for stock photography. Thanks for visiting!
Hello from Copenhagen Denmark;
remember me on this topic Mark.
I have been reading the page about "ODP" and after reading this page, and my views have not changed on " how to make money online ". I have been an internet marketeer adn webmaster since 1995 and have seen alot during the years. I think the big picture is still keeping it "small" and going with what works. The tale of my story is that, why not create a system for people, instead og creating software for people to use. ( strength in numbers )
We can hopefully agree that we all would like to make an income from cyberspace, and using minimum hours. For the last few years I made it my business creating "clans" or puting serveral people together in the "same account" and sharing profits. This has proved very usefull. This also works for me, working alone or recruting people, as long as there is an income where we all are happy. I have been using paypal for several years, but do not thrust them ( paypal ) they have to many claims, and paypal can with-hold cash without you ever getting them back, which can aslo be seen as a SCAM.
I also agree with you on the topic where if no one is willing to pay the $7 then they are not really open minded in how the internet works, specially after 2008. I have 22 websites all ranking top 100.000 confirmed by alexa.com and use them at times, but yes, one can make money without have websites. I have made good money on the net, and am glad that I have found a system that pays each month. I feel it important to say that, none of the cash that I have earned, did not come from places like " clickbank paypal " or other companyies like that. All payments and transactions are made directly to my ( your ) bank account, so no fees for payment, no risk. As a visitor to your great site, i do not need to prove my income, but this month alone ( Dec 2007 ) i have made over 43.000 danish kroner ( one US doller = five danish kroner ) and have hardly touched my keyboard, and this is only from one affialate company located in Sweeden. I also use several major affialate-businesses as a back-up, which are actually pretty good as a third-party income.
The risk at using paypal has grown the last few years to be high, risk when recieving transactions over $1000 and personally... i will never use them for serious business. The risk is to high. I am also willing to bet that most marketeers have experienced this problem. I have bookmarked your website and will return again. Keep up the good work, god bless and happy new year
Kind Regards : Peter Poulsen
(computer forensics consultant)
[From Manuel] Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Peter. I tried visiting your site but couldn't get to the inner page. Anyway, here's wishing you a great year ahead!
notoriety? so on demand profits involves some kind of internet fraud?
Hi Kay... No, not fraud. Some of the recommended actions in ODP are frowned upon by some people who see it in action. It's not fraudulent, but a lot of people will dislike you. The main point of ODP is all right; it's the actual execution that needs to be refined.
hi Manuel Viloria,
Thanks for the headsup on ODP. Was doing my due diligence on it when I saw your page.
Good stuff!
Hi Manuel ,
congratulations for your article. Its really important to read good reviews. Although I haven't bought ODP what I have understood is that is a system of "DO WHAT I DID" if I m not wrong more or less and you get a comission out of this.
Of course I could be totally wrong. On the other hand 7$ is really good price so just for curiosity (as most of the other buyers I suppose!) I could just buy it and check it out. But before doing that please let me know if is it something like I described?
Thanks
@Kevin - Thanks for visiting!
@Athan - Yes, ODP reports what Alok Jain did (though it does not show you where he did it), and yes there are affiliate links on this page for those who still wish to get a copy of On Demand Profits in spite of my review above.
Your $7 will probably be worth it if you have been on the internet for less than two months, and if you are willing to refine what Alok describes in his ODP ebook. If you do get a copy of ODP, I hope you don't do some of the things glowingly recommended in that ebook.
You'll need to make a couple of crucial changes if you want to succeed using the affiliate marketing promotion technique taught in ODP. I'll be outlining these important changes in an upcoming Special Report. Stay tuned!
Dear All,
I've come to know that the marketing formula outlined in Alok's ON DEMAND PROFITS is against the paypal's policies, and as a result there are chances that your paypal account will be freezed! Any comments???
Regards,
Aalon M Sheikh
[From Manuel Viloria] Hi, Aalon. Paypal's policy applies to what merchants place in their salespage copy. I haven't seen anything in Alok's On Demand Profits salespage copy that violates the Paypal policy regarding 7-dollar scripts. Perhaps you can point me in the right direction? Thanks!
OK, so what the hell is it then? My God, this work at home stuff gets so damn frutrating. I have just read all of these comments and the site and still have no freakin idea what the hell it actually is.
Please just spell it out.
Why will you have enemies? Just say it
What is this "on demand profits" about?
Bottom line it.
Here are the facts, Scott: On Demand Profits (ODP) details some of Alok Jain's specific methods and techniques of promoting products or services online via forums. This affiliate marketing technique can be used correctly, or abused intentionally or unwittingly.
You will gain enemies because some people don't want others to abuse this technique. And those angry folks will not care if you did not know what you were doing was wrong.
Bottom line: I will not recommend that you follow all the ODP techniques as is, Scott.
Well I'm with Scott, it is like beating around the bush. My guess is making nonsense comments in forums will not make me any friends. So my guess is if you want to correctly use ODP you better be able to intelligently participate in the forums.
Is this correct?
thanks for the straight answers.
And I could make a stock photo site, any other ideas?
I bet there are lots of guys like me willing to work if the work is worth it and a credit to their fellow man.
God Bless
You hit the ODP nail on the head, Bruce. As for the stock photo site, combine it with some kind of "photo a day" blog to help drive traffic. I know of someone who makes four-figures (passive income) a month just from his stock photo site.
Thanks Manuel, I will be a loyal reader here for a long time, BC
[From Manuel] Great to have you here, Bruce!
Hey Manuel, this online marketing thing has just gotten so proposterously out of hand, until It's a dirt shame with all the scamming going on. Surley goodness you must have recommendations, other than this photo blogging thing you mentioned. I'd like to hear your other suggestions along the lines of legit online marketing e-books, that will allow people willing to put in the time, energy, and money within their bugets to fire their bosses, and work full-time from home, so lets hear it.
Here's one suggestion, Gardner: Determine the target market of local businesses in your area, and build ten 30-page web sites that their target market will want to visit/read. Then sell advertising on those sites (est. $1k ~ $2k per month). Want more? Build more sites.
Interested in some other ways? Stay tuned...
Hey Manuel, Gardner: I appreciate your timely response, and wisdom filled advice. I think you should be aware of the fact that I'm a internet marketing newbie, who by the way bought Aloks Profits on Demand just 5days ago and was charged 29.00, and just ran across your site last night as i was checking the On Demand profits through a Goggle search ,You saved me the trouble, engergy, and time of even implementing his tactics. By the way the support team that can reached at admin@ondemandprofits.net told me themselves that some of the forums suggested are outdated and that one can make some money, and that It's a good way for the newbie to get started. Based on what you said, I'm not going to even waste my time. I'll just get a refund and go on to a more profitable program that will in fact allow me to fire my boss. By the way do you know anything about 3-hour profits, or Legit online business? And finally as a newbie, per your advice, how do i go about determining what the target market of local businesses in my area is? And in what form or medium do i write ten 30 page websites thru-which i can sell advertising. I don't even know how to build a website. I'm perfectly willing to learn if you will guide me or tell me the best way to go about accomplishing this task.
Thanks, Gardner from Jonesboro Ga.
Hi Gardner! I hope you won't turn your back on Forum Marketing, because that technique has helped a lot of website owners... if it's done correctly.
How to determine the target market of local businesses? Choose one establishment and make friends with the owner. After a few weeks, offer the owners your internet marketing services. The only cost will be their time, because you will interview them about who their target market is.
I'll be answering your other questions in future posts.
Thanks Manuel, I'll be watching for your future post.
Hi Manuel
I wish I had seen your column a couple of hours ago, here I am researching for forums to use the On demand profits program. It is looking as though I have bought a pup!!
I bought the whole package which includes the reselling bit.
Does this mean that I can only resell the package with clickbank? I thought I would be able to use a paypal button.
I do not like clickbank as I have had money in there for a long time and which I cannot get at because I have not had five different transactions!! By the way do you know how to get a page showing all that is owed to you in clickbank. I have asked them several times but cannot a straight answer.
I have listed my website as Daily Pay Day which I started just before Xmas and have now 5, correction I have just checked and there are 7 in my downline, not terrific but a start.
I have bookmarked your site and will paying many more visits!!
Thanks
Eric
Hello, Eric! If you have resell rights, then you can sell the ebook via Paypal or even 2CO.
Clickbank allows you to view the transaction details of, at most, 3 months' worth of data. You'll find it in the "Reporting - Transactions" tab. I wonder when they'll allow you to view more than 3 months at a time.
Glad to have you here, Eric!
Hi Manuel.
Thanks for your reply and clarification, but what is 2CO?
Cheers
Eric
[From Manuel] Hi, Eric. 2CO is 2CheckOut.
Hi Manuel,
You mentioned a lot of times that you will not recommend that we follow all the ODP techniques as is because of the notoriety we might gain if we do.
Taking an excerpt from one of your comments,
"One part of the workaround is to avoid some of the communities, or to modify one's approach. This means an additional bit of work, but it will help increase your chance of success."
What communities we should avoid? How should we modify one's approach? Any examples? What kind of additional work exactly? A more elaborated explanation is appreciated. You also mentioned that if the execution method is refined, it'll be better. How to refine it? Any step by step tips?
I find your efforts in addressing the issue and challenging the widely accepted methodology very initiative. However, as wordy as they seem, I failed to see any substance in them.
Thank you for hearing me out
Thanks, Joe. I don't post here the adjustments (i.e., which communities to avoid, which approach to modify) to specific On Demand Profits tactics, because that would be unfair to the people who have invested in information.
If, for example, you get a copy of $100 A Day, I will send you the "ODP Workaround Solution" Report.
Dear All,
Just wanted to know if one can use stormpay instead of paypal to promote ON DEMAND PROFITS or similar products. There are a few problems with paypal
1. They may freeze your a/c at any time. I've heard stories of many.
2. Paypal wants to get verified which normally takes several weeks before you get the four digit code from your bank statement.
3. Paypal is not available worldwide.
Plz let me know about your valued opinions. Thanks
Hey Manuel,
I am a 15 year old kid from Canada and I know a few people who have LOADS of cash
from online work. Every day I research many things but I feel as though I never learn a
thing. I am very devoted to spending time working on my computer but I would like to make
money doing it. The only problem is; I don't know ANYTHING about the internet or making money on it. Can you give me any ideas about where I can learn about, well, everything? I want to spend my time on the computer making money. where do I start??? I look forward to your reply. Thanks,
Jay E.

Hello there
I can see the thread has stopped but I just had to say, thanks for saving me from another buy of something that doesn't work and that I don't need.
thanks for your authenticity and integrity - two qualities that go a very long way with me.
I wish more reeviewers were as honest and forthright as yourself. I can now get on with more useful endeavours.
meanwhile, can you tell me - leaving ODP aside - is Jonathan Leger's $7 ebook concept dead in the water (I know someone else owns it nowadays) or are people still using the basic premise to successfully make money online?
All the best
from Sam
Some people are still able to successfully make money online using Jon Leger's $7 ebook approach. It basically depends on your niche topic, and your ability to attract targeted traffic.
thank you so much for being truthful, you know if you give, it shall be given unto you. You gave me something that helped me save time and money. For that I just want to say thanks, I will be following your writings and updates from here on out. I feel comfortable purchasing things from your site that you recommend I need to make money online. Anytime I have any doubts about this online money makeing thing I will check w you first. Oh and I love your sense of humor. Thanks again, thanks for being truthful and respectful.

[From Manuel] Thank you for your kind words, Indrea.
Hi Manuel,
I'm interested in knowing more about setting up a photo blog selling stock photos -- which you mentioned a couple of times. Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Hi Lawre,
Do you plan to sell your own stock photos?
If you are, make good use of the traffic generated by a popular photo website:
