Niche Marketing On Crack: A Review
444 words | Last Updated: April 6, 2009 |
People are buzzing about Andrew Hansen's Niche Marketing On Crack, and you might be wondering if it really is that easy to make $300 monthly with just a single web page.
When you get more info at NicheMarketingOnCrack.com, you'll probably get the feeling that all you have to do is create a single web page and earn $3,600 a year.
(Actually, you'll have to create more than a single web page. You'll probably need to create at least seven.)
You'll also read in Andrew's site that people didn't leverage anyone else's traffic, not even Andrew's traffic.
(In the NMOC ebook, however, you'll discover that some of the steps detailed there do make use of someone else's traffic.)
So, why would anyone still find Andrew Hansen's Niche Marketing On Crack a worthwhile read?
Pages 12 - 17: How to spot opportunities online
Page 25: Useful WordPress Plugins
Pages 33 - 39: What really makes your one-page sites work
How can you succeed with NMOC? You (or someone who can help) must prepare to write several articles, and to configure WordPress blogs. Actually, there is a way to succeed without resorting to WordPress, and I would be happy to help you with that if you get NMOC via the affiliate link above.
June 24, 2007 UPDATE:

The thing about WordPress is this: as you grow your online business and launch several WordPress sites, maintenance can become a nightmare especially if the developers at WP discover security vulnerabilities and request you to patch your blogs.
Can you imagine patching ten or so blogs?
There is a way of creating pages that save you the trouble of having to make the requisite patches. Yes, that means you'll need to create non-WP sites.
The last two pages of the NMOC ebook summarize the 9-step process Andrew Hansen used in creating those mini-blogs that earn even if they only get 15 visitors a day. Just remember, however, that those tiny blogs with a trickle of traffic succeed, because work was done on external sites which take advantage of someone else's high traffic.

The salespage is misleading! Success from one page only?
What Andrew Hansen meant was one page got search engine traffic. His site may have numerous blog posts (numerous webpages), but since it's only the homepage that got visited (from search engines), then that's "one page." Sheeeesh!
My sites are 1 page websites...
In wordpress a new page is created for each post so technically my blogs do have more than one page but if you go to the blog it's just a single page of content, a single blog... only that blog or that page gets traffic and that's the only page I promote and drive traffic to so the other pages are irrelevant... I consider that a one page site.
Andrew
Thanks for the review. I was researching this book, and after I read your review I decided to purchase it (using your affiliate link).
I ran into some problems checking out from PayPal and have no received the download link yet. However, I emailed Andrew and let him know, so hopefully I hear back from him soon so I can receive my eBook.
Thanks, Danny! I've emailed you The Non-WordPress Solution that is not found in NMOC, and if you have questions about that approach, please send your question to my email address.
Hi Manuel,
I was considering buying Niche Marketing On Crack. I have only read good reviews about it. I am glad I have read your review because now I know it is centered on Wordpress blogs.
I am not very keen on Wordpress because of the hassle involved like you say. The Non-WordPress Solution you mention, creating non-WP sites, will they work within Niche Marketing On Crack the same as Wordpress.
Regards,
johrob
Hi Johrob,
The non-WP solution will not work within NMOC the same as Wordpress, but it will (in its own way) work within the rest of the NMOC framework.
All the best,
Manuel
Hi Manuel,
I have just ordered Andrew's book from the affiliate link you provided. I am interested in learnin the non-WP solution and will appreciate if you could send it to me by email as you promised
Thanks and Regards!
MS
[From Manuel] Hi, MS! I've just emailed it to you. If you have additional questions about the non-WP approach, I'm just an email away. Thanks!
Hello Manuel, is your offer on the non WP method still on?
Hi Cornelius! Yes, the offer is still on.
Hi Manuel,
I'm pretty well convinced to give to give the NMOC method a try but am not totally happy with using WordPress in this case.
Before I go ahead and buy through your link I would like to know more about the non-WP solution you mention. It seems to be a way round possible time consuming problems in the future.
Many thanks,
Michael
Hi Michael,
The non-WP solution does not make use of themes. To customize the look and feel of your blog, you'll need to deal with HTML. Although you can enable comments, it will be safer to disable commenting. In addition, the URLs of the non-WP solution will not look as friendly as those of WP-powered blogs.
If you're willing to get over those initial hurdles, you will reap the benefits of not having to upgrade your non-WP blog every X number of weeks. And if ever you decide to move to another webhost, it is easy to simply download the files and re-upload them to your new webserver. There's no need to deal with mySQL tables.
All the best,
Manuel
Manuel,

[...] you're using the Non-WordPress Solution to blogging success, that [...]
I use the Niche Marketing on Crack format on both WordPress blogs and regular html sites, and they perform the same as far as bringing in nice profits. The only thing you need to remember if you're using a regular html site is it's a good idea to create a simple rss feed for your html site and ping your site (and socially bookmark new articles or pages) each time you update. That's the only difference, really. The same strategies work well on each type of site.
I've started moving away from WordPress for my new sites because of all the security issues and plug-ins not working when you update, etc. So I think people might want to find a nice html template they can reuse with each site (not hard to find one if you look around) and use that for their Niche Marketing on Crack sites. And then set up a simple one page rss feed - look for create your own feed or create a feed in Google for tutorials.
These sites are very minimalist - they dont' require a lot of maintenance once you get them indexed. Some of mine don't even have page rank and probably never will because I'm too lazy to update them! But they bring in money each month. Some bring in tiny amounts, others bring in hundreds, averaging about $2500 a month for me right now. I don't give them enough attention because I also have bigger sites that take up most of my time, but I still love me my NMOC sites! They really do work and are fun to set up.
That's terrific info, IMB. While others may want a blogging solution (so that they can easily update their sites), your regular html approach works well for sites that will not be updated.
I ordered NMOC through your link yesterday(3/20/09) morning and sent you email including the receipt, but have not heard from you. Please send me the non WP method.
A question: Is NMOC a download product or has to be shipped. I order it yesterday(3/20/09) morning and got receipt from Paypal right away but I have still not received any email from the publisher
Sorry about that, William. I've emailed Andrew Hansen, and we'll straighten this right away. NMOC is a downloadable product, and you should be able to get the ebook after you click on the "Return to the Merchant" button after completing payment via Paypal.
