Network Marketing Online

Friends have been asking about internetwork marketing, which is multilevel marketing or MLM done with the help of the internet. Is this truly possible? Can you succeed with online MLM or is this just a scam?
You already know what our favorite answer is, right?
Test. Test. Test.
Go ahead and make your test. Publish a landing page and see if people who read your comp plan will proceed and sign up under you. See if you can grow downlines that way.
Alternatively, you can do a split-test and create another landing page where people subscribe to your list (lead generation). A series of follow-up messages will then take care of lead development.
Given the emailed messages in your autoresponder sequence, will readers be motivated to sign up under this time? Once again, the prudent thing to do is to test.
I can understand the appeal of online network marketing.
No more running away from mall security guards who catch you distributing business opportunity flyers. Say goodbye to doors being slammed on your face as you try to convince people to buy your product or listen to your presentation.
And awkward moments when you discover that family, close friends and relatives won't support you in your latest biz opp? A thing of the past.
How is this possible? Well, your webpage will serve as your spokesperson online, 24 by 7.
You won't feel depressed when people read your webpage and then just leave without bothering to contact you. Afterall, you're not there to see it.
You won't feel dejected when (some) people read your webpage, frown, and say something rude before leaving your site. Afterall, you're not there to hear it.
Yes, it feels great and reassuring, but don't let that stump your growth. A little bit of pain is needed for you to become stronger, and for you to realize that the path to success is oftentimes not a well-paved one.
True, there will be bumps and potholes as well as occasional setbacks that will surely test your optimism and self-confidence. Fortunately, you can take a two-pronged approach as you build your network.
Try MLM the old way. You know, belly-to-belly, manual, face to face. And also try it the automated way. Yes, I'm talking about using the internet and websites to help spread your message to more people.
Just remember that in the end, you must learn to test what you can test. Don't believe everything or anything you read online. Test it out yourselves and see if what someone else experienced applies to your unique case.
So, when are you going to build your network marketing organization (or at least part, if not all of it) online? Good luck and have fun!

Testing, 1 2 3... there really is no other way, is there? When it comes to marketing, whether online or off, it's rarely a case of being able to push this button, and that happens, or that button, and this happens -- it's seldom that simple and straightforward. For example, a technique that works spectacularly well for someone else may fall flat for you, or vice versa. That idea that you thought would soar instead crashes to the ground, while another just takes off, catching you unawares.
It's all so unpredictable, isn't it? Wonder if that's part of the lure of marketing: much exhilaration when it works, and even more exasperation when it doesn't.
This is a great topic!
If I may comment... although building an MLM empire using the internet is way a lot easier, you still have to work on it.
A lot of people think that just because they've sign-up a web domain and have put some contents, new joiners will start flooding. I hate to bring you the bad news, but that is rarely the case.
Just like what Mr. Vilora is doing... he gives out valuable information to people for free. We all use his blogs for reference. So we follow him and his blogs. That takes a lot of work too!
So, if you want an easier way to build your MLM empire, use the internet. But be sure to use this tool right. And be sure you are ready to provide useful information to everyone without expecting them to join your MLM downline.
Cheers to you! I like your posts!
Thanks, Geoffrey! I learned a lot about MLM and network marketing from your posts at http://pinoymlmnetworker.com
I've never tried this method before, to me it seems hard to build your downline too much time and not worth it, but this is also coming from someone who's never tried it, nonetheless great well written article.
@keithb:
Just like in any business... the starting point seems hard and slow. But once you get the hang of it, things start to become easy. Then things just happen so fast that you can almost forget how you started out.
Question is if you know how to start right in network marketing.
