I tried to buy MS using the $97 promo but it keeps going to a $147 page... Contacted MS Support regarding this discrepancy or false advertising... been 2 days and still no answer...

Anyone here can help or have a link that I can buy this software. Hopefully this is not the quality of service MS provides going forward

Thanks for the article, one of my mentors told me this is a neccessity but I have been reluctant to spend the extra money. I have also been looking into using Spyfu. Does anybody know the quality of that software?

Jay makes a good point about using the 30 Day Challenge as a tutorial for MS. A while back I downloaded a trial version of MS and actually uninstalled it. But after watching the 30DC videos, it gave me a true perspective on the value of this software. Well... I've since purchased the full version and am very happy.

I think people should not buy Market Samurai unless they have a plan or system that they will be following. They could have done well with SEO for Firefox.

Jay, the trial period for MS in Thirty Day Challenge is 40 days!

There are other and more technical stuff in MS than meets the eye. It's in the Immediate Edge, Ed Dale et al's for advance internet marketers' course and membership site.

I will buy MS in the future, but I have to admit, it's kin of difficult to learn. Perhaps because I haven't read the tutorial and never watched the tutorial videos.

Thanks for your honest appraisal of keyword research tools like Market Samurai. I agree, so many marketers think that by simply purchasing tools like this that 99% of their work is done.

As you say, it's what you do with the information you get and how you apply it to your marketing efforts that counts.

I've been using MS for a while and have found it very good.

You're correct, there is a 12-day trial.

But something that I thought was worth mentioning is that the keyword research module is free. So if someone only wants the keyword functionality inside Market Samurai (and doesn't need the SEO Analysis, Content Research, Link-Building, Adwords, Monetization or Publishing features), then they can essentially use Market Samurai for free.
