Instant AdSense Site Builders?

You've probably been taken in by the wonderful promise of automatic AdSense site builders: Just tweak a few templates and click a couple of buttons, and you'll have your own automatic money machine of a web site in just a few minutes. Imagine, for less than $100, you can build hundreds if not thousands of sites that bring in over thousands of dollars in AdSense income.
Is it for real? Or are all these hard-to-pass-up offers just a bunch of scams?
Here's how to find out...
With this quick blueprint, you can quickly evaluate if the latest instant AdSense site creator is worth your time, money, and effort:
1. Does the creator of the software show their past 24 months' performance? Or do their displayed AdSense earnings stop in late 2006 or mid-2007? If the data is relatively "old", then you can probably guess why they're offering instant AdSense site building software now. 
2. Does the creator show demo sites built using the software? If there are no demos, then you might be wary. If there are demo sites, then check them out carefully...
3. How much of the generated page contains non-original content? If the page shows mostly links to other sites, or photos / videos found in other sites, well...
Let's just say if you are not willing to add enough original content to those web pages, such that the un-original content accounts for less than 40% of the page, then the auto site builder is NOT for you.
In the end, ask yourself if the sites produced are worth reading or re-visiting. If deep inside you find those demo sites boring, then don't expect a lot of traffic if ever you decide to publish such "lazy" sites.

Hi Manny! Are the adsense sites created by this builders some sort of mini-sites? I wanna ask because I am inclined to build some mini-sites - I got interested on them because they are said to be less requiring of maintenance and posting of articles, yet you can earn residual income from them. Can you advice me on how to build mini-sites? Is wordpress the great flatform?

I would not bother with these instant adsense sites. A far better plan imho would be to learn everything you can about Wordpress. Then get it set up right, post a few times a week, shortish posts will do. Have a bit of patience and you should see results.
Thanks, James. If you have the time, you might consider modifying some of these instant sites. In some cases, you'll be able to create another income source. In other cases, you'll gain insight on what topics work well with AdSense.
And the best part about this is: you can do this while you're building your WordPress blog.
