Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines

The Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP) comes at a time when web marketing still has a lot of upside potential for the country. Afterall, enterprises still invest more advertising pesos into trimedia vehicles: radio, print, television. As more companies hear about the successes others achieved with the help of web marketing, that P100 million online ad spend can be expected to grow.
Consumers are using the internet and mobile devices more, and your marketing group may be wondering how they can use the internet or the wireless medium as a new channel for marketing your products and services.
Here is the key internet and mobile marketing secret: Use this medium to share information. To solve problems. To provide near-instant if not quick click solutions.
And once your target markets get what they want, when they want, and how they want, then that's the time you'll achieve your goal. That's when you'll end up with customers who will actively seek out your products.
The thing is, even if you manage to amass a collection of internet marketing strategies and tactics, you can only go so far. The rapid changes in the online environment, coupled with your target market's propensity to hop from one online service to another, makes handling things all by yourself infeasible.
You need some kind of mastermind group. You'll seek the support of like-minded colleagues not just within your industry, but across several complementary industries. And that's where an association of internet and mobile marketers in the Philippines can help you.
Wouldn't you want to share best practices among fellow professionals in the digital and interactive media industry? Or what about tapping into the latest research and studies on internet and mobile marketing tools?
The vision of the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP) is:
...to become the premier marketing association for organizations that utilize the internet and mobile as part or their entire business model, recognized and given importance by the industry and marketing practitioners as a vital organization that will provide the marketing industry relevant information and tools related to the web and mobile.

paano baga sumali? aba'y when you click the "join" button sa website nila eh wala namang nangyayari.
And I thought it was just my browser. I'll ask Janette about this. Thanks!
I was wondering where the sign up link was.
Then it hit me. The IMMAP website is not search engine friendly.
What kind of Internet marketing do they intend to talk about? I recommend that the pinoy bloggers give them a hand and guide the way.
@Dave Q - They're working on the content for the "Join" page.
The IMMAP site is a flash site, so its focus is on the visitors and not the search engines. How then can people market a non-SE-friendly website? The Thirty Day Challenge holds some clues, right?
I've seen a lot of sites made by Top 500 corporations, aimed at generating sales and leads via the internet. Yet some of their sites are full flash sites (read: not search engine friendly). And so we come to the classic struggle between ultra-slick design and SEO.
Anyway, thanks for the comment. I'll get in touch with some of the people behind IMMAP.
salamat ng marami sa jessica zafra podcasts......mabuhay ka.....long before podcast she was already doing this kind of thing. You're welcome, Lawrence. I only have 4 episodes of the Jessica Zafra Podcast, though.

[From Manuel] Hi, Daryl! I'll forward your email to the folks at IMMAP.
