You're raring to add content to your blog or web site, and then the fear of uncertainty envelops you. "What if no one finds my pages? What if my article gets buried under hundreds of search engine listings? What if no one is even searching for the things I write about?"

That's where keyword research tools come in, because they help you write good, in-demand keywords. When you know what people are typing in the Yahoo or Google search boxes, for example, you will know what to write in your webpages.

And when you combine two of these tools, the results can be devastatingly spectacular...

The two tools are: SpyFu and Wordtracker.

SpyFu helps you determine advertiser interest. In other words, what keywords are advertisers willing to spend money on. If, for example, you type in a general keyword in the SpyFu searchbox (i.e., horses), you'll be able to see if there are 1, 20, or even no advertisers.

If you see that there are no advertisers for the particular keyword you typed in, then you now realize that the advertising revenue potential for that topic is close to nothing. But if you find there are 7 or even 21 advertisers, then you know that there's money to be made online.

So with SpyFu, you will know what advertisers are willing to pay you for.

WordTracker helps you discover searcher interest. When you use the Free Keyword Suggestion Tool from WordTracker, you will find out which phrases are searched for the most.

And when you subscribe to WordTracker, you will also discover the variations of keywords (i.e., with an 's' at the end or not, two- or three-word combinations) that people are looking for, plus a competitive guide that shows you which phrases you can easily rank high in the search engines for.

Here's the step-by-step guide to writing good keywords:

1. Think of a topic that you would like to write about. Preferably, it's something that people spend money on.

2. Check advertiser bid prices at SpyFu.

3. Get a list of related phrases that those advertisers are also bidding on.

4. Get search phrases or keywords (related to the words you found in Steps 2 and 3) that people are searching for, with the help of WordTracker.

5. Subscribe to the premium version of WordTracker and run the Competitive Results report.

6. Write blog posts using the search phrases that are easy to rank high for.

7. Write articles for search phrases that are difficult to rank high for, and submit those articles to article directories such as EzineArticles or GoArticles. Those articles will have a link back to your site, whether in the "About the Writer" resource box, or within the article itself.

8. Watch your site traffic grow, and repeat the previous steps for other topics.

In the future, I'll post the video tutorial here, so that you will see this powerful keyword research combination in action.

Remember, you can reach your online financial goals faster if you give people the information that they want. And you can do that if you first find out what they want.

So the next time you think of publishing something online, do your keyword research first and then write "highly visible in Google/Yahoo" types of articles that people (who want to be marketed to by advertisers) will want to read.
