You've probably heard of the expression "The Money Is In The List", and a lot of people have experienced that. Some, on a grand scale; others, on a more modest level.
For example, Mike (not his real name) started building a list a month ago. After 30 days, he earned $60.
Try that with a new site and AdSense or BANS.
His list size: 15 people.
If he was able to do that with a list of just 15 people, can you imagine what would happen if he had 150 people?
The question is, how do you quickly grow your list?
Here's one strategy....
One way of rapidly building your list is through Giveaway Marketing.
Several marketers get together, and each offers a free download (in the form of a PDF ebook, or some type of software) to people who sign-up to their mailing list. All of these offers will be brought together in one place, these different marketers will announce to each of their mailing lists about the Giveaway Gifts of the other marketers assembled in that one website.
In other words, your mailing subscribers will get to see the offer of other marketers. If they're interested, they will sign-up in that person's list.
It works both ways. Or rather, many ways.
The subscribers of the other marketers will get to see YOUR offer. And if they're interested, they will sign-up to your list.
WIN-WIN, right? Or should it be WIN-WIN-WIN...WINn?
So if you have a list of subscribers, get more sign-ups now:

(What if you don't have a list yet? Well, go ahead and join and see what the listbuilders are doing.)
You'll need to act fast because the promo will run only from May 16 - 23, 2008, and your own sign-up page should be ready by the time the doors open to the public on the 16th.
UPDATE #1: Some marketers are joining even after the Giveaway site was opened to the public, so it's not too late. Even those whose offers are listed on page 18 of the "used to be 50 but is now 55-page list of giveaways" are getting at least two new mailing list subscribers every hour. This is a FAST way to grow your list!
UPDATE #2: After 24 hours, the Giveaway campaign attracted 56 subscribers, even if the page describing the offer was between pages 17 and 21 in a 55+ listing. Of the 56 who signed up, 48 confirmed their subscription (3 quickly unsubscribed, perhaps since they were just after the free download and not the tutorials that will be delivered via the list).
For listbuilding newcomers, 45 confirmed subscribers in just 24 hours is not bad. Not bad at all!
(In financial terms, it cost around $0.37 per confirmed subscriber in a list that averages $4.00 in first month revenues per confirmed subscriber. Since the Giveaway campaign will run until the 23rd of May, that $0.37 cost per subscriber is expected to go down even more.)
If all 600 participants get equal exposure, then each would attract 0.17% of the 10k visitors. So the 1% represents a little under six times the average performance. When you include YOUR gift in future giveaways, it pays to avail of the "Featured Gift" package.
It's not too late, and you can rapidly get more sign-ups for your list now:

"The Money is in the list"
I heard this a lot of times before, but so far I haven't tried this affiliate method. Maybe "the money is in the list" if the marketer knows how to filter those who subscribe to his list.:D
That reminds me, I have to update my lists! Pity its just about 20+ only. Will give your method a try!
Maybe I should have a list also. But I don't know exactly how many that's going to be on my list.
