How Many WP Blogs Do You Need?

If you’ve been reading about problogging, niche marketing, or adsense templates, you’ve probably come across the need to create a lot of web sites. Specifically, WordPress-powered blogs. It kind of makes you wonder, though: How many WordPress blogs do you actually need?
You need just one WP blog per mega-theme. A mega-theme can cover several sub-themes or niches.
Recently, you’ve seen the need to upgrade WordPress, only to have to upgrade it once again within a matter of just a few days. Now it’s not too bad if you’re only upgrading (or re-upgrading) a couple of sites. But what happens if you suddenly have to adjust 15, 30, or even 50 sites?
As HappySlip‘s father would say: “Disasssssterrrrrr….”
That’s why it makes sense to create as few WP blogs as possible. And what of those many niche topics you’re trying to earn Adsense dollars or cents from? Create static html pages.
You know. Just like in the old days.
And if you don’t want to make the time to create those handcrafted pages with all those manually typed HTML code? Well, perhaps the content isn’t worth putting up at all.
It’s up to you if you choose to launch WP blogs left and right. Please keep in mind, however, that ignoring WP security upgrades may cost you more than just one blog.
