How have you tests gone on the Help Desks? Alot of the “Gurus” use PerlDesk or Kayako to take care of support tickets. They are not free, but alot of the bugs are worked out and they have support.

I just found your site a few minutes ago. Did you ever get around to checking out any help desk scripts? Willie Crawford has one that is not free but very cheap that is on Clickbank. He uses it himself. It seems interesting.
