Google Cash Detective sold out, or so I heard, in just two hours. So 500 people paid $397 or $497? And those who missed the GCDetective boat have signed up for the notification list. But please don't feel too bad. Here's why.
Google Cash Detective allows you to easily monitor Google Adwords over time. You'll then see which ads appeared the most during the past X days (assuming you let the system run that long), based on your chose keyword (e.g., weight loss).
Here's the premise: If the same ad appears many times, then that ad is profitable. Hmmm... I wonder what would happen if someone like Bill Gates decides to have a little Adwords fun.
Some things to consider, though:
1. If you copy the exact same ad, how much do you think you'll make in referral commissions?
2. If you spend $30 today on Adwords, and then make $50 in commission sales also on the same day, when will you actually receive the $50? Thee months from now? Six months from now? And when will the US dollar check clear?
3. How will Google feel about all these webservers automatically grabbing its Adwords data everyday? Who's going to foot the bandwidth bill?
4. If you have enough funds to experiment with over the "long" haul (e.g., eight months), then go give GCDetective a try (assuming you can get a copy).
In the meantime, I'll go watch TV commercials (or look through newspaper or magazine ads), take note of which ads appear the most in a given period, then go find a business partner to help me either break into that market (either as a new competitor or as an advertiser/franchisee). *cough*
Tip for Merchants: Sign up as an affiliate for your own product, then advertise like crazy (as an affiliate) in Adwords.
Users of GCDetective will see your long-running ad, and they will also advertise the same ad. It's a great way to double, triple, or even quadruple your ad exposure at no additional cost, assuming that there are 500 owners of the GCDetective script.

GCD is really awesome, but people who have missed out on it really need not fret...
Check out AdSpyPro instead and you'll feel much better =)
Here's why:
It's a Quality Product (uploaded to your server) that’s cheaper than GCD (Google Cash Detective) & UCP (Undercover Profits)... yet Performs Much Better!
Moreover, it's a one-off payment and there's no monthly payment like GCD & UCP!
FYI: Many people are getting refunds from GCD & UCP to get AdSpyPro...
I’ve gotten AdSpyPro for $47. Now it has already gone up to $67.
Do get it today before Jean-Philippe Schoeffel increases his price any further =)
This is the Real Deal. Even Chris would willingly admit it =) Awesome!
Cheers to a Solid Supersaver Deal that has already increased the
profit margins of those who are using it!
AdspyPro.com does sound affordably interesting, although I've heard a number of people experience installation issues. I hope the use of automated queries doesn't peeve Google too much, though.
Google Cash Detective Exposed!!!
Google Cash Detective $500 Nightmare
Worst Buying EXPERIENCE Of My Life!!!
WARNING BUYERS BEWARE: I have not had the user experience I had expected when I purchased the "Google Cash Detective". There Are Many UnHappy Google Cash Detective Software Customers. There are hidden charges that are not mention until Thank You verification page. Google Cash Detective Software was release on June 4, 2007 with Script Bugs and Errors, Installation and Cron issues. It was not ready for global released to the to public for sale. It seems there was different price purchases points.
Visit "THE UN-OFFICIAL GCD http://gcdforum.info SET UP BY A GOOGLE CASH DETECTIVE CUSTOMER TO HELP ASSIST OTHER FRUSTRATED GCD CUSTOMERS.
The Google Cash Detective (Limited Release) launches on Tuesday, July 3rd at 12 noon Central Standard Time, according to Chris Carpenter.
I admire the way he wrote that email in the face of the negative publicity his GCD has unleashed these past few weeks. It's quite a lesson in crisis management.
Anyway, given the GCD installation issues of some people, the July limited release covers "a version of the Google Cash Detective that is delivered with hosting included and is ready to start using immediately."
Google cash detective is a scam. I never work properly, they change the rules to charge you more once you already have pay, the support is the worst I have ever see (no answer to the email and when they answer they don't reply to the question) and I have request seven times to get my moneyback and don't even receive an answer.
[--libelous comment removed--]
[From Manuel] Strongly worded and bordering on the libelous anonymous comments are better published in the anonymous person's own blog, and then simply referenced here via a trackback. By the way, IANAL.
Thierry is right. I myself had requested for a moneyback. What they'd do is erased you from their system after you requested for a refund. You would then get confused. You wouldn't know who to contact for the refund. Try to log in at their billing department help desk and you'll get "Please enter a valid logon id and password".
A charge of $185.00 was posted on my credit card on July 16, 2007. I requested a refund on July 14, 2006. If that's not a scam, what is?
I thought I'd respond to Manuel's concern about Adspypro installation, since I installed the scripts on one of my servers about an hour ago.
The installation instructions aren't as precise as they should be, in my opinion, but anyone who can use a CPANEL file manager can upload the zipped file to the installation directory and extract it very quickly. I found that worked better for me than unpacking it on my Windows box and using ftp to move it all to the server.
Once the scripts are installed, you use CPANEL/s MySQL Wizard to create a database. When that's done, there's a simple script to run which prompts you for the data needed to connect the database to the scripts. All you need to remember about this is that, on Hostgator accounts, the database server is "localhost" and all the other data requires the database prefix, i.e. DB user name "johndoe" does not work, but "dbprefix_johndoe" does. These are minor problems, but the installation notes don't even touch on them.
Once that's done, all you need to do is login to the program, grab the CRON tasks provided, set up the CRON, and you're ready to build campaigns.
My take so far: For $67, this killer is a bargain, and, for the easily intimidated, they'll install it for you for $30. Compare that to the price of the competition, and you'll quickly understand why I bought it.

Been inundated with CC videos. It sure looks great...maybe we can all become successful PPC marketers, all with the same site!
It seems to me that if too many copies are released, we'll end up with a bidding explosion: imagine all those (practically undifferentiated) websites, all SEO optimized, competing for a position on the first page. The real winner would be Google, as the costs get so high, the profit margins disappear. Then all the advertisers throw in the towel and:
Google decides enough is enough and takes countermeasures. Maybe eliminates direct linking altogether.
Do we know what their thinking is about all the high tech scrambling going on? Maybe the biggest market is selling slick software to hordes of internet millionaire wannabes.
Ya think?
Greetings-
I considered buying the GCDetective today, and it got delayed to tomorrow. I have one primary concern, and that is my impression is that one needs a dedicated server for this to run correctly, and that's $200-$500 per month. Anyone have an honest answer to that? Paying for a dedicated server and this program gets very expensive for a web page full of promises.
You don't need a dedicated server because it runs on their own servers. It's not like the old GCD, you don't have to install anything, you can access through members.gcdetective.com, obviously with an user and pass.
I've bought it, and so far it's been great, i've cloned 2 campaings and they are making $50 a day already, $25 of those $50 are profits
It's a great service, and the GCD2 is totally web based and has data from squillions of keywords.
No i'm not affiliate with them - i use GCD myself - and have had some good results.
I even created my own tool to help speed up the research process for GCD affiliate urls.. (shameless plug

I have read the comments. Can anyone tell me how to purchase the GC Detective? I already have the CC Google 4.
Thanks
I’ve created a post on my Blog titled “Google Cash Detective Nightmare!”. You should read it.
If nothing else you will get a laugh out of the story as it unfolds. So far I’ve spent $1.95, and its already cost me one hour on the phone with Paypal Support, and a $97 charge to my Paypal account.
