Chris McNeeney launches Google Assassin, a monthly membership club that gives you access to advertising-monitoring software. In other words, you'll get the chance to see what other affiliate marketers are bidding on and somehow guess which ad keywords are profitable. But there's something else you'll learn about this system....

Take, for example, the Google Assassin salespage. If you try and navigate away from it, a chat window will pop-up in an attempt to save the sale. This is the first time I've ever seen anything like it, so I exchanged messages with someone (or something) called "Summer."

No one can possibly type that fast, so it's obvious that Summer is the product of some artificial intelligence program.

Some of her responses, though, surprised me, and for a while I thought there was a human watching the exchange and stepping in if the AI script cannot handle the query. But it later became clear that "Summer" just has a list of canned responses. Kudos to the programmer for anticipating some of the questions.

Another thing you'll learn is how a lot of people are heavily promoting Google Assassin. From mailing lists to web pages, and now even in the realm of online video. I've never seen anything like this. A quick search on what has been placed online about GA shows that around 45% of the entries are videos.

Does this herald a shift in the way people engage in affiliate marketing?

Anyway, if you're the kind of person who purchases online ad spots and sends the traffic to affiliate marketing referral links, then give Google Assassin a try.
