Sometimes, my Squidoo pages rank high in the Google search engine results pages. Sometimes, they're nowhere to be found. What gives?

And it isn't just Google. For some reason, the listing is also absent in Yahoo.

When those lenses do reappear in Google, they also reappear in Yahoo.

I'm now monitoring how many pages in Squidoo have "on Squidoo" in the title:
Google search allintitle: on squidoo site:www.squidoo.com
Yahoo search allintitle: "on squidoo" site:squidoo.com

As of Feb 17, 2007: G- 90,200; Y - 5,880
Feb 18: G - 88,800; Y - 5,830
Feb 20: G - 87,300; Y - 5,770

Let's see how fickle the search engines are when it comes to Squidoo lenses.
