Here is Part 1 of a review of Chris McNeeney's Day Job Killer ebook, touted as "the number one money-making affiliate guide for 2007."

Here's what else Chris promises:

The Day Job Killer methods have been "field-tested" on 12 test subjects just to prove that the techniques will work for any affiliate, regardless of level of experience (it works for newbie and advanced affiliates). Remember that these are techniques secretly being used by successful affiliates and internet marketing gurus right now at the expense of the average affiliate. Those 12 test subjects are now making money (the most successful of them now makes over $500 a day and the least successful is making $150 a day).

If the DayJobKiller.com (or DJK) site is too busy, you can go directly to the DJK Order Page, or even the DJK + APX Bundle Promo Page.

NOTE: APX stands for Affiliate Project X, an ebook also by Chris which he launched some four months prior to the release of DJK. The promo page allows you to get APX (which normally retails for $97) at a highly affordable $67 only.

Anyway, on to the "Day Job Killer" review...

The "short" 69-page ebook is not easy to read, because the tips presented are quite new and are likely to jumpstart your mind into trying out different affiliate marketing techniques and tactics.

In fact, as this is being written, several of those who got a copy of the "Day Job Killer" are already implementing some of those tactics.

And that's one thing you can do after reading DJK: Choose one activity and implement it. This will protect you from feeling overwhelmed.

So, while DJK calls itself a simple "collection of solutions to problems that all Internet marketers and affiliates face in 2007," it is anything but simple. It will take a healthy amount of your time, focus, and attention. And the best way to find out if it is truly worth it, is to put it to the test.

Chris writes about the Direct Linking "X" method, which allows you to enjoy the benefits of affiliate marketing revenues even if you don't have a web site.

Yes, this has been done before (circa "Google Cash"), yet Chris provides a twist to the old approach. It is an essential tactic you can add to your Adwords Strategy, to help you become more successful.

DJK reveals on page 5 what keyword/s to bid on in Google Adwords.

(To Aileen Apolo: This info will be useful to those seminar participants who are interested in Adwords, as well as to the certified Google Advertising Professionals.)

As far as finding an affiliate program is concerned, DJK lists at least six places you can visit. One of those places is something I'm seeing for the first time, and only made me more aware of the increasing effects of globalization.

What products to promote? DJK gives four places where you can discover which products are popular, and two places where you will get some kind of advance notice regarding product trends. I especially liked the non-internet aspect of product research, as well as ways to evaluate the scalability of any niche.

Which merchants should affiliates work with? This tip helps me save time, because it allows me to evaluate any merchant within 37 seconds. No more slogging through forum after forum looking for positive or negative feedback regarding this or that merchant.

On page 12, you'll find out how to get more info regarding these merchants, no matter where you are in the world. The revelation of both software and freeware is a nice touch, and I appreciate Chris and DJK for that.

Setting up your Adwords Ad is tackled in pages 13 to 18, and experienced Adwords advertisers can easily follow along. I hope, though, that the material will also be presented in video format for those trying out Adwords for the first time.

A few pages deal with the Amazon Affiliate Program, and this will probably be tied-in with the later pages on Adwords tactics.

Pages 22 to 24 give details on a successful campaign, and Chris reveals enhancements that he applied to his ads, and how much his starting bid was. I like how he shows his thinking process behind his Adwords campaign.

Whew! And that's just the first method (Direct Linking "X"). And there are 45 pages more to go.

I'll write about "The Leveller" (or how Chris leeches or "robs" internet gurus) in another post, as part of this continuing review of the Day Job Killer.
