Good analysis Manuel! I also read Darren Rowse's post about it and I think this might just work if we give it a chance. Like what Paolo said, the effects might not be realized after a few months. However, as long as there is no guarantee that it doesn't violate Adsense TOS, I won't put it back on my blog.

@Janette - Thanks! Aside from writing good titles, we need to learn how to control which posts are actually shown in the widget box. John Chow suggested the use of a separate RSS feed.

@paolomendoza - Established blogs might be worried about wasting time trying BlogRush. It's probably easier for new blogs or those with low traffic to give BlogRush a try.

@sasha - where did you see your recent post? In your own widget box?

I haven't seen any traffic coming from Blog Rush but I am still willing to give it a try. I've actually seen my recent post displayed 2x already. Might bring in traffic, even a visitor or two. I will check again after a month and will see if it brings more visitors.

overall, i think the effects of blogrush (and it's truthfulness to its promise) wont be realized until after months. there's no harm in supporting it.

Great post Manuel. I certainly agree with you. I guess those joining also can consider this as an exercise on how to make the titles of their blog post enticing.
