David Risley launches the Blog Masters Club, a six-month online coaching program that shows you how to make money online, based on his experience as a six-figure problogger (about $240,000 each year from just two blogs plus side offers). Is this just a scam, or is www.blogmastersclub.com the real deal?
If you're searching for a Blog Masters Club review, you won't find much at this point in time because the 16 Modules are going to be released over a six-month period (about 2 to 3 modules per month).
Each module contains around 5 videos, so be prepared to learn from 10 to 15 videos each month.
But here, in a quick nutshell, is what I'm getting from his salespage. So if you want to make money online the six-figure blogger way, then...
- Build a list.
- Create and sell your own products.
- Don't rely too much on AdSense.
- Sell access to a membership site.
- Market your blog.
Imagine that. David Risley has two blogs (www.pcmech.com and www.davidrisley.com), and earns an average of $20,000 each month. That lifestyle allows him to travel all over the world with his family, and makes it easy for his wife to stay at home and look after their young daughter.
How does he do it? He markets his content-rich blogs extensively.
You'll find David all over the web: Facebook, Twitter, Plurk, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, FriendFeed. And these online "outposts" help drive traffic back to his blogs. When people do end up in his blogs, they are treated to solid content, and are invited to subscribe to his mailing list.
Do you see where this is going? Yes, David's Blog Masters Club coaching program will, in effect, share with you exactly what he did to get to where he is today. Would you like to even make a fraction of $20,000 a month? What if you have time to achieve just 10% of that, or $2,000 each month. Would you be interested?
Let's look at the modules...
Module 1: The Problogger Mindset. Is this a growing trend in training or coaching circles? You begin with this "inner game" form of foundation, where you first deal with your beliefs and attitude. This allows you to lay the groundwork and use the correct time management tools, so you can blog productively.
Module 2: Selecting The Right Market. What makes a profitable blog? In most cases, it's the topic of your blog. I've seen examples of bloggers who do make money quickly online, and those who get a tiny trickle even after writing for many months. Fortunately, there is a technique that allows you to rapidly assess if the topic you're interested in is worth pursuing (from an online financial point of view).
Module 3: Optimizing Your Blog. While David Risley will not go into the basics of setting up your WordPress blog in detail, he will share some tactics which he has used on his blogs, and how you can turn around and apply them to your own.
Module 4: Secrets of Effective and Compelling Blogging. Now we're getting to the main skill you need to hone as a successful problogger. Yes, I'm talking about your ability to write and catch the attention of your readers. Or your ability to connect with people just by the power of your words, as they engage with the stories you share online.
Module 5: Social Media Strategy. Some bloggers (particularly those who earn mainly from AdSense), tend to overlook the power of social networking. David has discovered that social media marketing helps you build relationships online. In fact, he has unearthed powerful Twitter tactics that allows people to make money. Yes, the key lies in your personal branding activities all over the web.
Module 6: Pure Traffic-Getting Tactics. Most bloggers will immediately think about commenting in various blogs, or guest posting as a way of getting more visitors to your site. David, on the other hand, shares his traffic generation strategics which will help you get higher traffic.
Module 7: SEO For Bloggers. Now why is this placed in a separate module? At the Blog Masters Club, David will share with you his SEO philosophy. Basically, he encourages you to simplify your SEO efforts, get the basics down pat, and then focus your efforts on other things such as blogging and marketing.
Module 8: Making Your Own Videos. A lot of bloggers have yet to tap the power of online video, and David provides detailed coaching on howto create videos for the internet. He also shares powerful psychological triggers that you can weave into your own videos, to help you motivate your viewers into taking action. Please use this technique responsibly, okay?
Module 9: Blog Monetization Strategies In-Depth. David reveals how he makes his six-figure blogger income. The thing is, the magic happens when you pull people away from your blog? Is that strange? Well, you basically use your blog to attract people. Then once you have their attention, you invite them to join your list, so that you can focus their attention even more. And what happens when targeted visitors are focused on your offer? You'll soon find out...
Module 10: Creating Your Product(s) And Sales Funnel. If you want to make money online, you will need to expand beyond the usual AdSense and online advertising, or affiliate marketing models. Yes, you can continue making money that way, but there is another way: sell your own products.
Module 11: List Building For Bloggers. Some gurus say "Place AdSense in your blogs right from the start." Now that's perfectly all right. But think of what will happen if you build a blog (that does not have AdSense), and build your list starting from Day 1? David Risley, the six-figure blogger, has seen the power of listbuilding, and shares with you how to get more subscribers and build a profitable list.
Module 12: Creating a Recurring Revenue Stream. A larger part of David's online income comes from his membership sites. Wouldn't you like to diversify and gain multiple sources of income? Why stop at just selling standalone ebooks, for example, if you can get people to stay with you for months and pay you each month, right?
Module 13: Become a Persuasion Ninja. A key skill you need online is your ability to persuade people. Yes, just from the power of your words or the way you present information on a webpage. How do you find the balance between genuinely helping others and selling your products? How do you come across as helpful rather than pushy or hype-y?
Module 14: Maximizing Profits From Your Blog. It's easy to get complacent once you experience $1,000 or $2,000 months from each of your blogs. But what happens if you get your different blogs to work together? This is a case of 1 + 1 = 3, where cooperation among your blogs will pave the way for even more income opportunities. I'm curious about how David Risley has achieved his six-figure problogger status using only two blogs.
Module 15: Joint Ventures. Here's where we catch glimpses of how David makes things work. Yes, he may own only two blogs, but by partnering with other people, it's as if he has a larger network of blogs and mailing lists. No website is an island, and once you taste the power of JVs, there's no turning back. Let me ask you a question: Would you prefer to build more websites, or would you rather build more friendships?
Module 16: Automation & Outsourcing. Wouldn't it be great to make money on the web, and still have the time to actually enjoy your additional wealth? One amazing thing about the web is its ability to melt borders. You can get more work done with the help of other people around the world, so that your blogs make money automatically for you, even while you're on vacation.
Now that you've seen the topics that will be covered in the Blog Masters Club over six months, you can ask yourself if you truly want to become a six-figure blogger. Clearly, this program is aimed at people who want to focus and become full-time bloggers.
I'm curious, though. Which of those 16 topics above are you mainly interested in? Please let me know so that we can help you right away. That way, you can get started even faster while you wait for the rest of the content of the Blog Masters Club to appear.
