People are asking whether it is better to produce an audio or video podcast. Afterall, is there still room for podcasting in an increasingly video world? The answer might just surprise you.
EzineArticles.com recently approved my article Surviving the Podcast Killer, where I give an important tip for aspiring podcasters.
Create a video version of some of your podcast episodes.
For example, I posted a Tagalog lesson video which helps promote the Viloria.com Speak Tagalog Podcast
That helped increase the podcast's subscribers, because the video gave it additional exposure. There are some people who spend a lot of their time in YouTube. So it makes sense to reach out to them by posting a video over there.
Go ahead and try podcasting both in audio and video today!
(BONUS TIP: Write an original article and submit it to article directories. That will give you additional exposure because--you guessed it--there are people who spend a lot of time in article directories.)
