I'm reminded of an earlier post about local SEO companies expanding their marketing arsenal, and it's great to see Apogee Search coming out with their Search Marketing Blog.

This is an excellent way of displaying their SEO/SEM expertise, and it also helps their site rank high in the search engines. Afterall, how can they gain credibility if their own site does not appear in Google's search engine results, right?

I appreciate learning from Apogee Search, for example, that just having a Google sitemap may get your pages indexed, but stuck in Supplemental limbo. This means that your indexed pages will not rank highly for certain keywords.

No wonder a number of websites with complete sitemaps don't rank high. Those sites lacked a good internal linking structure, and thanks to the Apogee Search blog, I can now adjust those pages.

If Apogee Search can one day display their clients without fear of having their websites bumped off the first page of the search engine results, then that will handily serve as a confidence booster for potential clients who are still sitting on the SEO fence.
