Adsense Real Estate: The Sobering Truth
403 words | Last Updated: September 5, 2006 |
If you've heard of Adsense Real Estate (www.AdsenseRealEstate.com) and the wonderful dreams of earning a $7,500 check from Google, here's the sobering financial truth.
At AdsenseRealEstate.com, you will pay $397 for the first month, and $197 a month for the subsequent months. In exchange, you will receive each month two (2) ready-made web sites complete with graphics and seven (7) unique articles.
Now there are some rare instances when a free web site built in Blogspot.com can average $200 a month in Google Adsense earnings. The effort behind such web sites, however, is considerable.
The blogger posted unique content (from the point of view of the search engines), and eventually got a pagerank of PR 4. Other more popular bloggers linked to that site, and the rest is Adsense history.
No, the site did not have only seven articles.
If you will just work with a 7-article web site, you'd be lucky to earn $15 a month. Assuming you are that fortunate, or if you build a 100-article (unique content, remember) site and get around 100 visitors a day, that translates to a monthly earning of $15 per web site.
Let's assume you're lucky enough to have web sites that earn $15/month right from the start.
At that rate, by the 13th month, you would've paid Adsense Real Estate a total of $2761 while your accumulated earnings would be $2,730 (assuming each of your web sites was earning $15 every month).
In month 14, your total payout to ARE would be $2,958 and your total earnings would be $3,150 or a return of about 6.5% (in fourteen months) or about 5.6% per annum.
That's if you're lucky.
By month 14, you'll be taking care of 28 web sites. Plus two more every succeeding month.
If you're willing to maintain 28 web sites and are willing to spend $2,958 in a project that might net you $192 or a return of 5.6% (please notice that we haven't factored in the cost of your time, internet connection, site promotion expense, domain name registration, other expenses), then you might consider going for Adsense Real Estate.
Or better yet, try building a useful site at Blogspot.com and see how much you can earn within a month. Yes, like that blogger who grossed $800 during the first four months.
In the end, if there were a true automatic, easy-to-do, "just pay, sit back and wait for the Adsense checks to roll in" system, why would people part with it for only $98.50 per fully-hosted web site?

interesting! i haven't come across this adsense real estate scheme yet. But you are right, it's another scheme. You really have to like publishing to get into it. At first I wasn't sure if I would, given the extremely busy days I face everyday but now I realize it's more fun than I expected. Still slaving on the wordpress stuff though.
very interesting topic, and thank you for your response to me regarding the site submission.
i saw sitesell from one of your sites. i read it and looks interesting, how about that? does it really generate revenue?
thanks
Hi Madel,
Sitesell, like most businesses, can succeed if you are motivated
enough and put in the writing effort. If you enjoy writing or you
know people who love to write and who are willing to work with you
and your Sitesell site, then you can make it work.
I don't just mean writing per se. I mean writing articles that will
connect with a lot of consumers (i.e., 1000 people a day). If your site
attracts the attention of 1000 people (with buying power) a day, Sitesell
will definitely work for you.
Kind regards,
Manuel
You may want to see how the program runs now............... it has many more features and they now have a staff of over 50 writers.

Hello,
The Amazon's affiliate program is upgrading from 3 to 4 release.
How do we get this program still working is the Adsense Real Estate websites ?
Regards
It would be better to get that info from the support team of AdSense Real Estate. Thanks!
Hello,
Thanks a lot. Have you got the support email , there's no contact page, I think it's nearly impossblie to join them.
Can you help ?
Thanks
Perhaps you can try the Contact Us page in their blog -- http://adsenserealestate.com/blog/?page_id=4
I just got some of these sites from a membership site without paying anything for them. The problem is that the scripts are not even working correctly.
Anyway, I totally agree with your calculations and answers to people's comments.
I also notice that the adsenserealestate.com is no longer working which proves the system did not work.
I bought the complete collection of sites and it's a very screwed up system. I uploaded one sample "adoption" site to my server and tried it out. When you click on a link pertaining to, for example, an article on child adoption in Illinois, you might get an article on adopting dogs in Texas. And on some pages, they didn't even implement the Adsense ads and the amazon ads don't even workf. I'd be much better off just building a site from scratch than trying to make this one work right. It must have been a scam. Glad I didn't pay much for it.
