When you try to help others improve their chances of AdSense success, you will sometimes be branded as an AdSense expert, and will be asked to show proof of your income. Don't fall for it, though, because there is a flaw in the premise.

The truth is, there are no AdSense experts.

And here's why...

If you want to create and receive value on the web, you'll need to revisit Ken Evoy's CTPM Process: Content - Traffic - Presell - Monetize.

It's the last part ("Monetize") where AdSense comes in. Before you reach that part, however, you'll need to publish useful and more or less unique content online, and attract people or drive traffic to your web pages.

That's where you need a Content expert and a web site Traffic expert.

You'll also need a Techie/Programmer expert to help you test the different ways of earning online advertising revenues (not just AdSense).

Those AdSense success stories you keep reading or hearing about? They have the content and the traffic. And they most likely tested different AdSense scenarios (or were just plain lucky with their first attempt), and found something that worked for them.

There are no AdSense experts, because you cannot second-guess your readers. You can, however, make experiments and see how people react. And for that to happen, focus on developing these skills: Writing, SEO, Programming.

Or at least form a team of people capable in those areas.

And if you were to personally handle just ONE area? I would suggest you focus on Content. Afterall, you are unique and no one else quite has the exact same thing you have between your ears.
